English Vermouth

Made in collaboration with the Wood Brothers Distillery, this is an exquisite drink, either by itself - maybe on ice - as an aperitif, or as a mixer. It is aromatic, citrus, rich, slightly off dry and the colour of gold. Using some of my chardonnay and a splash of bacchus 2020 as a base, blended with English grain spirit and aromatised with a range of herbs, many grown at the distillery: it’s a secret blend but look out for rosemary, wormwood, juniper among others. Very limited production.
